The Honeycutt's Year of Firsts ~2014

Merry Christmas from my family to yours!  We're excited to celebrate the love and birth of our King in the Honeycutt home.

So we've reached the toddler stage and it's harder to take portraits of my children now. They want to play with my camera. That's why I have to hire a friend that's a pro. Now that they are a year and half old we just do it annually. These Christmas photos where taken by me here at the new home studio.

2014 was a Year of so many firsts:    Sitting, standing, walking, learning new words, traveling to new places, new jobs, selling a home, buying a home, buying a new car, packing and moving twice. So many to name them all.

All while lacking a lot of sleep.

I feel so extremely blessed in the middle of this crazy whirlwind called Life. My husband and i celebrated our 10 year anniversary. Such an amazing journey we've had so far. I can't wait to spend the next 10 years and the 50 after that together.  We had hoped to have a big celebration, but that has been postponed to another year. We'll get around to renewing our vows one day. He is such a hard worker, sometimes a little too hard since we miss him a lot. Hopefully we'll see him a little more in 2015.

I can't get over how amazing it is to be parents to twins. They are such a joy and so much fun. Who knew you could love somebody so much. With their recent developments, it's like meeting a new little person every day and falling in love them all over again each day. They do have bad days where you want to hide in a closet, but that's mostly the snot and teething. It too shall pass and it does. So remember mommy's and daddy's this too shall pass. Try to enjoy the moment. Sometimes we have to let the laundry pile up and the house get a little messy to do so.

2014 also had some recent sickness this fall and start into winter. Not in my little family so much, but in the extended family. I'm wishing and praying for healing and health for 2015. Also for safe travels for my husband and I as we travel for work soon.

I'm looking forward to seeing you all in 2015 and watching your lives take shape in a new year.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year's Loves!
