Twinkie Time 2015 to 2019

My babies are going off to Kindergarten in August. We're so thankful for the past four years at FUMC's Child Development Center. Those sweet teachers loving on my kids made it possible for me to leave them when they cried for me as I walked out the door. They were very much part of my village.

There were many points during my kids early years I didn't know how I was going to make it through the day without my own meltdown. I call the early years survival years. Their time at preschool not only gave them a solid education start and personable skills, but it gave momma time to work and build my business of beautiful faces.
Only recently did I feel my brain starting to fire again (about the time they finally started to sleep through the night every day). It's actually thinking, thriving and not just merely surviving. I silently think to myself, "I can actually do this parenting/work/life balance thing." Then it all comes crashing down again and I think about all the therapy my kids are going to need from how we probably aren't doing something right. It gets easier in some aspects of life, but harder in others. So I'd stick to the theory its just different. Each stage is different, with it's own challenges and joy. At the end of the day there may have been tears, but there was a lot of smiles and laughter too. Our house has toy horses and tiny trinkets everywhere, but it's also overflowing with LOVE.  I wouldn't change a thing. My two favorite tiny humans are growing faster than I care to admit. They are turning into amazing little people with big caring hearts. They love so many things, going places, and most of all having fun while playing with friends and family.

Raising twins isn't for the faint of heart. New adventures await and we can't wait!

(The pumpkins are a bit odd for August, but I bought them at Kroger a few days before so I decorated early that year. Winning!)

At some point in the past 10 months my little babies sprouted into full blown kids. The pictures from August to now have me baffled. That's a lot of growing.
